💰Kingdom Principles on Finances | June 8, 2025 Jesus is Lord, It is with great joy that I bring you this message today. This is our year of settlement—and one of the areas God is settling us is our finances. Yes, God cares about your family, your health, your ministry—and yes, He cares about your finances too. That’s why we are starting this new teaching series on Kingdom Principles on Finances. My desire is to walk with you step-by-step as we understand what God’s Word truly says about money, stewardship, and Kingdom wealth. “The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but the Word of the Lord shall remain forever.” So many people have shied away from financial conversations in church—but Jesus didn’t. Even in His ministry, He had a treasurer. That tells us money matters. So let’s dive into four critical principles today: 1. 🧭 Fight the Greed Mentality (Luke 12:15) The Lord cautioned us: “Life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.” Beloved, our worth is not determined by how much we own. If it were, Jesus would have used money to redeem us. But He used His own life. Let us pursue God, not just gain. Let us reject greed, and choose godly contentment. 2. 📊 Be Accountable and Responsible (Proverbs 27:23-27) In the old times they said, Know the state of your flock. In today’s language—know your income, expenses, and plans. God gives us ideas, seeds, and opportunities. Cultivate them. Many of us have prayed for harvests we haven’t planted. But the harvest comes at the end, not the beginning. “Money is called currency because it flows— Nobody holds it, it moves from one hand to another” Every successful business you see started as an idea. Let God breathe on your idea and then commit to it with excellence. 3. 🧠 Fight Poverty Mentality Poverty doesn’t begin in the pocket—it begins in the mind. It’s not about where you come from, it’s about what you believe about where you’re going. Start small, yes, but don’t stay there. Don’t despise humble beginnings. Train your mind to think growth, speak vision, and walk by faith. “Provision follows vision. Stop praying for money—start running with the vision.” 4. 💪 Kill Laziness, Embrace Diligence (Proverbs 13:4) The soul of the lazy craves but gets nothing. Don’t say “there’s no money” while others are rising and making the money. There are so many business registrations happening every day in Kenya alone. What are you doing with the little you have? Excellence is not for the few—it is for the faithful. “Even Apostle Paul said—these hands have supplied for me and those around me.” (Acts 20:34) Whether you are doing ministry or in business, give it structure. Be diligent. Refuse to be idle. God has not called you to beg—He has called you to be a blessing. 📝 Final Word As we continue this journey together, remember: Wealth in the Kingdom is not just about accumulation—it’s about stewardship, faith, and responsibility. Prayer Summit – Day 2 | June 7, 2025 Jesus is Lord, What a glorious two-day encounter we’ve had at the House of Faith! As we conclude the 2025 edition of our Prayer Summit, I am filled with gratitude and awe at how God has spoken and given us divine instruction on how to secure our remaining half of the year with The Prayer strategy. We are reminded that prayer is not just a habit—it is Heaven’s strategy for breakthrough. This gathering was more than a meeting; it was a spiritual activation and a turning point for Overcoming Faith Church. Your hunger for God has released something powerful in the Spirit realm. Message Highlight by Rev. Thomas Ngaru Rev. Thomas brought a powerful and timely message titled “The Court of Many Colors”, drawing parallels between the life of Joseph and our spiritual journey as believers. “From the moment you accepted Jesus Christ, you were robed with favor—and that attracts battles, but also glory.” Like Joseph, your path may lead through the pit, Potiphar’s house, prison—but it will surely arrive at purpose. God places a spiritual coat upon us—the devil recognizes it and fights it, but he cannot destroy it. Even in the fire, God is present. Even in the lion’s den, His hand sustains. Joseph didn’t quit. He didn’t compromise. He endured. That coat of many colors is your prophetic identity—a sign that you are marked by Heaven. “People with great destiny often fight greater battles—your pain has a purpose!” A Call to Prayer As we move forward, God is calling us not just to moments of prayer, but to a lifestyle of prayer. Let us carry the fire ignited in this summit into our families, workplaces, communities and continue building spiritual altars that stand strong. Let your home be a house of prayer. Stand in the gap for your children, our nation, and the church. Develop spiritual persistence—pray again and again, just as Jesus did. The summit may have ended, but the altar remains burning. The Prayer Strategy – Prayer Summit Day 1 Greetings OFC Church, Today marks a special turning point for our ministry and for you. As we launched into this 2-day Prayer Summit we are reminded that prayer is not a ritual—it is a strategy given by God to help us conquer the battles of life. “Prayer is a divine strategy. It’s not our last option—it’s our first response.” 1. Prayer is a Strategy for Victory Jesus spent entire nights in prayer. That was His strategy. When overwhelmed, He prayed. When under pressure, He prayed. God is calling us into that same place of persistence, where spiritual authority is released. In Matthew 26:36-40, Jesus went back and prayed again and again. Why? Because prayer works. “If Jesus, the Son of God, prayed persistently—how much more should we?” 2. Your Authority in Prayer We don’t pray for formality. We pray to resist the enemy, to bring back what was stolen, and to declare victory in the spirit. I want to remind you, the devil exists. “Whether you like it or not, the devil exists. You can’t kill him—but you can resist him.” Our mission is spiritual. That’s why we are on Faith Today TV—not for popularity, but to redeem the airwaves from the enemy’s grip. 4. Prayer is a Ministry, Not Just a Moment Prayer isn’t reserved for Sunday—it is our daily discipline. Jesus said, “Men ought always to pray and not lose heart” (Luke 18:1). Before you eat—pray. Before you travel—pray. Before you speak—pray. David prayed three times a day. We can too. 17Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice. 18 He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, For there were many against me. You are blessed to bless Today I reflected on the overflowing blessings of God. Psalms 23:5 states thus: “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” David is praising God and thanking Him for His lovingkindness in the face of danger and threats from his enemies. I am reminded of battles that I have fought with loss, sickness, rejection, malice, and even fear. So many times, God has shown up for me in amazing ways even in the face of such enemies and let me see His goodness and faithfulness. I pray for you who may be facing some enemies right now. May the Lord refresh you at His table of mercy, forgiveness, restoration, provision, peace and whatever else you need. And may these blessings overflow to others from you. 🔥The Power of Confession – Part 3 📅 Edition 17 | June 2025 Theme Scripture: Mark 5:14 Dear Beloved, Grace and peace to you. As we continue our transformational series on The Power of Confession, we are reminded that our words carry divine power and authority. Words are not just vibrations in the air—they are seeds that shape our lives. 📖 When You Speak, You Create Jesus said, “Let us cross over to the other side.” That wasn’t a guess—it was a prophetic declaration. He knew storms might come, but He also knew Who was with Him. As the disciples reached the other side, they were met with opposition—an encounter with demonic forces. But even the demons recognized Jesus. They trembled at His presence. When you confess Christ, Satan takes notice. Even demons recognize the power of His name: “You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!” – James 2:19 Worship is a weapon. Confession is power. When you speak the Word, you torment the enemy. 🎯Speak the Word, Stop the Storm Jesus rebuked the wind—not just the water. Deal with the unseen. Most of the time, we address the outcome, but God wants us to address the cause. Some of the things you’re facing are not just financial, relational, or emotional—they’re spiritual in origin. Stop rebuking the surface. Start addressing the spirit behind it. Your mouth is your most powerful weapon. Every “Amen” is a declaration “So be it” . Every word is a seed. Let me remind you: 🛡️ Your words are weapons. 💬 “You are not going under—you are going over.” ⚔️ What failed before doesn’t mean the next thing will fail. ✝️ “Even now,” God is still at work. 🗣️ Say It Before You See It David didn’t wait to win—he spoke victory first: “But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts…” – 1 Samuel 17:45 Speak what God says, not what fear says. Win battles with your tongue before your hands ever fight. “Most people lose battles not in war, but in their words. Change your confession, change your life.” 👨👩👧 Confess Over Your Family & Future Parents, stop cursing your teenage children in frustration. Start declaring destiny over them. Just because your child is struggling now doesn’t mean their future is doomed. “The things that destroyed previous generations must end with you—declare a new lineage in Jesus’ name!” Say it like Joshua: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Even if it looks otherwise, keep speaking the promise until it becomes the reality. Stop agreeing with defeat. Speak your future. Say: 🗣️ “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” 💬 “In the next five years, I’ll own my home.” 💖 “My children will walk in purpose.” “Stop speaking from fear—start declaring what you believe, not just what you see.” Speak it loud. Speak it clear. Speak it often. 🧭 Your Tongue Is Your Steering Wheel The book of James compares the tongue to a ship’s rudder—it controls your whole life. Don’t sabotage your future with careless words. Instead, speak victory: 🔥 “God is for me.” 🔥 “My breakthrough is coming.” 🔥 “My family is rising again.” Don’t let doubt sabotage your destiny. Like Zachariah, God may need to close your mouth if your words contradict His promise. Let’s not abort our blessings with our own confessions. “You can’t speak defeat and expect victory.” 🙏 Final Declaration Prayer “My Father and my God, I receive your blessing today, your hand is upon my life. You are fighting my battles. This coming week, the hand of the lord is upon me, even this month of June, Lord you are fighting for me. In the second and the last part of the year, Lord be with me and my family and when we see the new year, we will give you all the glory. We pray for your covering and provision. Extend Some grace and Love to Yourself. We were in a Church service recently when the preacher asked for anyone who has never told a lie to raise their hand. In that awkward moment in the congregation as we all pondered the question, he quickly added: “if you raise your hand, you are actually lying”. Of course that eased the tension as the people laughed This made me ponder about my own failures as a Child of God, and His unconditional love and forgiveness that are unmerited. Have you failed in your life and those failures still haunt you? Some mistakes and shortcomings may have brought setbacks, delays, humiliation, shame, self condemnation and much more. But today I urge you to extend some grace and love to yourself. It’s prudent to realize that we actually grow from our failures just as much when we appreciate our humanity and embrace God’s help and strength. Are you down right now? Dust yourself and stand again… “For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again…” Proverbs 24:16a

The Power of Confession – Part 2 | Edition 16 | May 2025 Issue Title: The Power of Confession – Part 2 Subtitle: Align Your Words with Your Destiny Theme Scripture: Mark 4:35 – “On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, ‘Let us cross over to the other side.’” Dear Beloved, Your words matter more than you may realize. Every time you speak, you’re sowing seeds into your future. Confession isn’t just about saying what’s true in the moment—it’s about declaring what will become true because of your faith. In Mark 4, Jesus makes a simple but powerful statement: “Let us cross over to the other side.” He didn’t say, “Let’s see if we’ll make it”—He declared the end from the beginning. That is how destiny is shaped. Many of us are on one side of life—perhaps the side of lack, disappointment, or delay—but I want to remind you: there is another side of life. There’s a side of provision, promotion, and peace. And to get there, your words must align with your direction. The storm is real, but so is your Savior. Jesus was with the disciples in the boat—and yet the storm still came. This proves that being in the presence and will of God doesn’t mean the absence of trials. In fact, the more aligned you are with your purpose, the more likely you’ll face resistance. Every storm you face has two components: The Water – what you can see (challenges, rejection, hardship) The Wind – what you cannot see (spiritual forces, emotional burdens, inherited patterns) We often spend time fighting the water while ignoring the wind. But Jesus addressed the wind—because that’s where the power lies. It’s time to start dealing with the invisible roots behind visible problems. Don’t deal with people—deal with the spirit behind the people. Many times, you’re not dealing with a person, your spouse, a situation, or a system. You’re dealing with a spiritual wind behind them. That’s why confession and prayer are critical tools in the life of a believer. Don’t speak what you see—speak what God has shown you. Remember: You’re not going under—you’re going over. What didn’t work before doesn’t mean it will never work. Don’t say “never again.” Say, “Even now, God is working.” Your pain doesn’t disqualify you—it positions you. The same wind that opposes you will soon push you forward. Don’t look back in defeat. Focus forward in faith. You may have been delayed, but you are not denied. Just as the disciples made it safely to the other side—you will too. A Final Word Speak with faith. Declare life over your family, your business, your health, and your future. Let your words match your vision. God has already given you the victory—walk in it. I am praying with you this week. Come next Sunday with your written requests, and we will agree in prayer together. My Father and my God, I thank You for Your Word. I now understand that every storm in my life can be silenced because You have given me power and authority. In the name of Jesus, I come against the force and power behind every storm. You storm—whatever your source—I command you to be still, in Jesus’ name. I declare victory and speak peace over my life. The Power of Confession | Overcoming Faith Church Blessings and Peace to You, House of Faith There’s so much noise in the world today—so much fear, negativity, and uncertainty. If you listen to the news on TV, Radio or scroll through social media, it can feel like the world is falling apart. But I want to remind you today: We walk by faith and not by sight, pay attention to the words you speak. Words are powerful, what we say is crucial and it determines our destiny. The Bible says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21). Many times we are not careful with the words we speak and yet, they have a way of manifesting in our lives. This Sunday, the Lord stirred my heart with a simple yet powerful truth: Your confession can shape your reality. If a Tree Can Hear… Everything Can Hear In Mark 11:12, Jesus spoke to the fig tree, and it responded. Think about that—if a tree can hear, what about your body, your finances, your situation? Jesus said in Matthew 17:20, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can speak to the mountain.” That means everything you speak to can hear you. Speak it as the Lord would speak it. Confession Brings Possession Your wilderness is not your end—it’s the space between the promise and the fulfillment. Am reminded of the children of Israel; In Exodus 3:10, God said, “I have come to deliver my people.” But between Egypt and the Promised Land was the wilderness. And guess what happened there? Murmuring. Complaining. Doubt. But hear me well—what you confess in the wilderness determines if you will possess the promise. Speak like God speaks. Declare, “I am strong,” even if you feel weak (Joel 3:10). Say, “I am rich,” even when the bank account says otherwise. Why? Because we are not confessing what we see or even our feelings—we are confessing our faith. Remove the “But” Many of us are like the Israelites in Numbers 13:27. We say, “Yes, God is good but… the giants are too big.” Friends, how many times have we said God is good but… remove the ‘but’. Let your confession be full of faith like Joshua and Caleb. Just like Apostle Paul Say: “I can do all things through Christ” (Phil. 4:13). “I am the head and not the tail” (Deut. 28:13). When you speak negatively, you empower fear. But when you speak God’s Word, you release His power. Your Destiny Is Not in the Past Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God has plans to prosper us—not to harm us. Don’t say, “I wish this had not happened.” Don’t dwell on the past. Faith is about now. Even when Lazarus died, Jesus told Martha in John 11:25, “I am the resurrection and the life.” Not I was, not I will be—I AM. Jesus is with you even now. The journey of your life is in His hands. Change the Narrative Have you been blaming leaders, your spouse, children or the government? Stop the blame game. You cannot reverse what happened last week, but you can shape your tomorrow with your confession today. Let’s stop saying, “Kenya is falling apart.” No—Kenya is rising. Things are getting better. We are not called to echo bad news—we are called to declare good news. Be the prophet of your own destiny. Say, “God is blessing our land.” Say, “Peace is coming to our neighborhoods.” Let us shift the spiritual atmosphere with our words. God’s Word Cancels Every Curse Isaiah 54:17 says, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.” That includes words spoken against your life, your family, your future. Take authority. Destroy every negative word spoken over you in the name of Jesus. Speak to the mountain. Be specific. Say, “This fear must leave.” Say, “This sickness has no place.” And it shall be removed. A Prayer for You May the grace of God be multiplied over your life. May the Lord strengthen you and complete the work He began in you. May you walk under an open heaven. May no fear, no oppression, no negative voice prevail over you. May your confession align with your faith, and may your faith activate God’s promises. God is faithful. Let’s stop limiting Him. Your Call to Action Let’s go out this week and speak life. Invite someone to church this week. Share the love of Jesus. Bring your family. Bring a friend. Bring a neighbor. A Life of Thanksgiving How thankful are you when you talk to God? The world around us generally doesn’t encourage thankfulness. We’re taught to look after ourselves in order to get what we think we deserve. And yet—Christians ought to be the most thankful people on earth because we have been given everything by God. James 1:17 reminds us that every good gift comes from Him. This implies that God is always acting in kindness toward us. Not only has God given us life and breath, but He has also offered us the free gift of eternal life. God made a way for us to have a relationship with Him through the death and resurrection of Jesus. That alone is more than enough for us to live a life of gratitude toward God. Because of what He’s done for us, our hearts should be in a constant state of thanksgiving. And yet, we often find ourselves complaining because things don’t go the way we want. We grumble because we don’t have the things we think we deserve. And the more that we complain, the more our hearts grow critical and bitter. Thankfully, Psalm 100 gives us the antidote for grumbling and complaining: thankfulness. Thanksgiving is a spiritual habit that we have to intentionally develop through continual practice. We can practice by taking time each day to talk with God, and to thank Him for all He has done. We can also practice thankfulness by telling others how grateful we are for them. So the next time you find yourself complaining or grumbling, take a moment to think about the love and goodness of God in your life. Instead of complaining, express how thankful you are for who God is and what He has given you. Keep a list of things you’re grateful for and add to it throughout the week. Watch as your heart and mind begin to be transformed by the simple act of thanksgiving. Copied from the Bible App
