Today I reflected on the overflowing blessings of God. Psalms 23:5 states thus: “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”

David is praising God and thanking Him for His lovingkindness in the face of danger and threats from his enemies. I am reminded of battles that I have fought with loss, sickness, rejection, malice, and even fear. So many times, God has shown up for me in amazing ways even in the face of such enemies and let me see His goodness and faithfulness. I pray for you who may be facing some enemies right now. May the Lord refresh you at His table of mercy, forgiveness, restoration, provision, peace and whatever else you need. And may these blessings overflow to others from you. Remember that you are blessed to bless. Let your cup overflow to others…
