On the same blessed morning, two powerful gatherings took place under the banner of Overcoming Faith Church, one in Murang’a, Mariani, and another in Githurai. In one room, daughters wept and travailed. In another, sons rose and sharpened one another. Both rooms shook with the same Spirit.
Daughters of Faith Prayer Breakfast — Murang’a, Mariani
In the rolling hills of Mariani, the Daughters of Faith gathered for a morning that no one present will soon forget. Women came from across the region, filling the room with an atmosphere of surrender, expectancy, and holy hunger. Under the ministry of Reverend Faith Ndungu, this was not a typical gathering; this was a meeting of wailing women who refused to be silent. The Holy Spirit moved powerfully from the very start. What began as a prayer breakfast quickly became a full encounter with God. Tears flowed freely, not tears of despair, but tears of intercession, faith, and declaration. Women prayed for one another, for their families, and for the nation. The call was clear: it is time for the Daughters of Faith to travail in prayer and say enough is enough. When Daughters of Faith meet, the atmosphere shifts. And on this morning in Mariani, heaven answered.
Men of Destiny Prayer Breakfast — Githurai
Across the city in Githurai, the Men of Destiny gathered for a morning that proved one thing beyond doubt: men are rising. Not by strength or status, but by the Spirit of God. The men came not just in numbers, but in hunger, unity, and purpose. A deeply stirring word on Spiritual Influence anchored the morning, calling every man to examine the mark he is leaving on his home, his community, and the Kingdom of God. Hearts were aligned, burdens were lifted, and purpose was awakened. Men prayed fervently for one another raw, honest, and powerful. Iron sharpened iron. The breakfast was heavy, rich, and worth waking up for. But it was what happened in the Spirit that truly fed every man in that room. To every man who showed up you are honoured. This is only the beginning.

Whether in Mariani or Githurai, whether daughters weeping or sons rising Overcoming Faith Church gathered with one heart, and God answered. We believe these mornings were seeds planted for a harvest yet to come. To God be all the glory.
