This year’s Vacation Bible School was nothing short of extraordinary. Across Overcoming Faith Church branches, children gathered for four vibrant days filled with Bible lessons, memory verses, worship, creative activities, and moments that will stay with them for a lifetime. The theme Walking in Supernatural Power set the tone for an unforgettable week that stirred young hearts and deepened their understanding of who God is and what He can do through them.
Children dove into the stories of Bible characters who moved in the power of God, discovering that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in them. From riveting lessons to lively group activities, every session was designed to plant seeds of faith that will grow for years to come. And yes, there was even a dance choreography in line with the theme, because when you’re celebrating supernatural power, you celebrate with everything you’ve got!
One of the most beautiful highlights of the week came from our Githurai 45 branch, where seven children decided to give their lives to Christ. Heaven rejoiced, and so did we. These seven precious souls are a reminder of why children’s ministry matters and why we press on with joy.
At The House of Faith, Thika Road, it was a special privilege to spend time with the children and remind them of three powerful truths they must carry with them always: they are special, they are unique, and they carry potential. To every child in attendance, know that God has a beautiful and purposeful plan for your life. Dream big. Believe boldly. Never place a ceiling on what God can do through you.
To the parents, thank you for trusting us with your children. Keep speaking life over them at home. Encourage them to grow, to believe, and to walk daily in the supernatural power that belongs to every child of God.
To our incredible VBS teachers your love, patience, and dedication did not go unnoticed. You poured yourselves into these young lives, and the fruit of that investment is eternal. May God reward you abundantly for every song taught, every verse memorised, every prayer prayed, and every smile you gave.
And to every partner who continues to support our children’s ministry your generosity makes moments like these possible. Together, we are raising a generation that will not just know about God’s power, but walk in it.
